We were picked up at the airport in a very comfortable and clean van. Our driver was very friendly and then we spent 3 days with Gonzalo taking us on 3 wonderful tours. He added so much background on everything we did. He made our time in Panama City a wonderful experience. Gonzalo speaks great english, is very reliable and reasonable. We would recommend his servicer to anyone who wants to have a great time in Panama. Thank you Gonzalo–Dave and Joanne
Gonzalo was everything we could have hoped for in a birding guide. He took us to a beautiful and pleasant part of Panama and a half dozen different type of habitats from which we saw 10 or more species of birds per hour and crocs and monkeys throughout the day. Gonzalo has instant visual recognition, unfailingly accurate and fast scope setup time and aural recognition as well.
Thank you Gonzalo!

“A group of us (6 Americans), flew down to Panama City for a cruise that was leaving out of Port Colon -…
..The vehicle was comfortable and spacious enolugh for 6 people with luggage. They are very accomodating and it’s worth reacdhing out.”

We were very pleased with Gonzalo Horna’s Panama transport and birding / animal guide service during our visit to Gamboa. He was always on time for our transport from and to the airport as well as our early morning adventure to discover many new bird species plus animals which included howler monkeys, sloths, and anteater to mention a few. He was familiar with the special habitat for the various birds and quite adept at locating some very difficult target birds. It was a great pleasure sharing this special experience with Gonzalo, a gem of a person and now a good friend !
Lisa and I had the plesuere of 7 days birding in Central Panama in early February. We hired a guide to show us around and find the birds. Also, he was our chauffeur, which, on seeing the traffic in the country, was a blessing. The guide was Gonzalo Horna, whom we found on the Birding Pal web site. Gonzalo knew his birds and where to find them. You can contact him by his email
